Providing Logistics Solutions

Ohio Logistics Today
Ohio Logistics is a growing, dynamic company providing innovative warehousing, distribution, and transportation services to customers with global logistics requirements. tow motor at Ohio warehouse - Ohio Logistics

Ohio Logistics, today, provides over 3 million square feet of warehouse space in four states. It provides Foreign Trade Zone services at several locations. Its Transportation Group operates its own fleet of trucks. Its Document Service Company delivers the most complete records management and document destruction service in its marketing areas.

Third-Party Logistics Provider
To be competitive in the global marketplace, many companies are turning to third-party logistics providers. Ohio Logistics has positioned itself to integrate entire logistics functions to shrink time, inventory, and costs for its customers. This “order-to-delivery” system provides management the ability to save money, improve quality, and enhance their customers’ satisfaction.

Ohio Logistics can control the flow of material to the manufacturing plant and the flow of the finished product to the customer in a precise, cost-effective manner. By outsourcing their logistics, these companies focus on their core business, avoid labor problems, decrease capital expense, and utilize the latest industry practices.

Story of Growth
The story of its growth is in itself very impressive. In 17 years, Ohio Logistics has grown from one building and an idea, into one of the nations largest privately held logistics firm. In addition to warehousing and transportation, Ohio Logistics provides distribution, inventory management, and manufacturing support.

In November 1988, the firm opened the Tall Timbers Distribution Center in the General Purpose Foreign Trade Zone in Findlay, Ohio. It contained 165,000 square feet of space. This building was soon expanded twice to its present 320,000 square feet. An additional building near Tall Timbers was acquired in 1995 with 250,000 square feet of warehouse space.
