For convenience and savings, Ohio Logistics provides value-added services at each warehouse location. These services include minor industrial rework/inspection and distribution.

Industrial Rework and Inspection
Tailored to the individual needs of each customer, we
can make all of the necessary preparations for repackaging and redistribution.

 

We are able to use our extensive experience in packaging to accomplish many goals. We can do product inspection and testing, light assembly and manufacturing, repair, and repackage products that have been returned from retail reclaim centers. Ohio Logistics can also shrink-wrap, label, relabel, price sticker, bar coding/RFID application and insert coupons for various products. We also offer customers promotional packaging and packaging of point of sale displays.


Distribution Services
As part of our distribution services we offer cross docking, ocean-container crate breakdown, order desk capabilities, inventory control systems, serial and date control, scheduling and replenishment, bar coding, and order entry. Whatever your order pulling needs, we are able to implement them. We have extensive experience in handling pick and pack requirements for a number of different product lines and various shipping methods.

Ocean Container Crate Breakdown
Once an ocean container arrives at Ohio Logistics, we can provide complete crate breakdown. We will remove and dispose of all wood, palletize the product and ship to the customer according to the daily pull schedule.

The most efficient method of order fulfillment is when products never have to be placed in storage. Ohio Logistics' cross docking module designed to work seamlessly with the Order Desk and Shipping departments. The distribution centers are equipped with conveyor belts to ease and facilitate fast movement of cross docking.

Third-Party Services
Ohio Logistics facilitates third-party services including: freight forwarding, import/export services, logistics consulting, inside deliveries, salvage and scrap disposal and, mail order/mailing services.

Order Desk Capabilities
Customers can utilize our order desk capabilities.

It allows your staff and customers to directly place their orders with us. Our inventory control and shipping system allows us to accept orders and process them promptly.

Ohio Logistics, which is located in Foreign Trade Zone #151, breaks down the incoming containers, separates items by part number, spot inspects the product, verifies quantities, updates inventories and, when necessary, sends parts out to coders. Ohio Logistics then delivers the parts to its customers "just-in-time" and in the right quantity.

The customers receive both the advantages of the Foreign Trade Zone and the convenience of on-time delivery, which can usually only be provided by a domestic supplier.
