The Document Service Company (DSC) has been organized as a division of Findlay's Tall Timbers Distribution Center to provide professional document storage and records management service, including document destruction.

Document Service Company can help you free-up valuable storage space with records retention service. The off-site document storage service includes pick-up and delivery, instant documentation, individual file retrieval, records management services, private auditing, storage containers and 24-hour security.

The Document Service Company (DSC) facility is located in a safe area within a reasonable distance of the Findlay, Fremont, Tiffin, Lima, Ottawa, Toledo, and Bowling Green area.  A barbwire topped chain link fence surrounds our secure, 450,000 cubic feet records management area.  Access is limited to DSC employees and clients, or prospective clients, escorted by DSC employees.  DSC not only provides document destruction, it is bonded and fully insured.  It removes document waste and provides notarized certificates of destruction.

The staff of DSC has become expert at interpreting reference requests. Documents can be retrieved and refilled by telephone. Duplicate documents can be made and delivered while the original remains in secure storage or the original document may be delivered by prompt courier service.

Documents are fully secured by controlled access and 24-hour electronic surveillance systems to protect against unauthorized access, vandalism and fire. Security codes limit access to authorized personnel.

The service began in 1992 and DSC currently stores a variety of records including computer printouts, microforms, legal files, insurance claims, credit files, engineering drawings and blueprints, general correspondence, X-ray jackets, bank records, and medical records.

Document Service Company is also able to deliver the most complete records management and document destruction service in its marketing area.

The document storage program has been designed to meet the Association of Records Managers and Administrators requirements for multi-media and archival records storage.

This includes the development of retention schedules, regulatory compliance, policy and procedures analysis, active file management, and automated litigation support.

Documents are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Documents, files, computers tapes, and containers are all tracked by a computerized bar code system.

Ohio Logistics is a member of the Association of Records Managers and Administrators.
